The case studies below are from real people using mBT. Using special scanning equipment, images of their skeletons can be produced to allow us to see the effect of mBT on posture, gait, and joints. Clicking on the "More skeletons" link for each case study will bring up a lot more detailed images - but requires a fast internet connection.

Treatment of Knee Problems

Mr. K suffered from severe pain in the knees when wearing normal shoes. After only 30 minutes of wearing the MBT his gait pattern had considerably improved.

Poor Posture

Here you can see the difference between the standard gait pattern on the street in normal shoes and the optimised, upright and active gait pattern with MBT, which is also more gentle on the back and joints.

The technology used to produce these moving skeleton pictures

These moving skeleton pictures are not theoretical computer animations, they are, in fact pictures of real people on a running machine. The movements have an accuracy of 1mm.
